La Fabrique de la Cité would like to invite you to its New Year’s reception for a debate on  : « In the face of present crises, act for tomorrow – cities and territories, fault lines and strength lines »

Contemporary crises our territories are going through show the current tensions between revolution temptations and upheavals. In light of these, what actions could be undertaken today to construct tomorrow? What solutions can be provided to existing fault lines and what dynamics to build on?

On the occasion of La Fabrique de la Cité’s New Year’s reception, Michèle Larüe Charlus, chief of “BM 2050” at Bordeaux Métropole, Jacques Lévy, professor of geography and urbanism at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Cyril Roger-Lacan, co-founder and president of Tilia, and Pierre Veltz, 2017 Grand Prix of urbanism will exchange on social and spatial transformations France is going through.

This exchange will be followed by the presentation of La Ville rêvée des philosophes, a book published by La Fabrique de la Cité in partnership with Philosophie Magazine with Michel Eltchaninoff, chief editor of Philosophie Magazine, Ariella Masboungi, 2016 Grand Prix of urbanism and Antoine Picon, professor at Harvard.
