Armelle Langlois is deputy director of Sustainable Building at VINCI Construction France since January 2016.

She began her career as a Project Manager, then Agency Head at ArchitecteA. She created Underground Architect in 2008, an agency specialized in urban renewal and public facilities. She was also Project Officer for projects of urban renovation in critical areas. In 2012, she joined the Technical Direction, Quality and Environment of VINCI Park as a Project Director.

She was in charge of projects in dense urban centers or projects with a strong architectural impact such as the new Bordeaux’ Belcier Train Station. Since 2014, she joined the team of VINCI Construction France in charge of R&D projects in urban areas. Simultaneously to her activities in VINCI, she teaches at the École Spéciale des Travaux Public.Armelle Langlois is graduated in engineering at the École Spéciale des Travaux Publics and in Architecture at the École Spéciale d’Architecture.

Armelle Langlois is a member of the steering committee of La Fabrique de la Cité.

La Fabrique de la Cité is a think tank dedicated to urban foresight, created by the VINCI group, its sponsor, in 2010. La Fabrique de la Cité acts as a forum where urban stakeholders, whether French or international, collaborate to bring forth new ways of building and rebuilding cities.
