Ben Plowden is non-executive director of the transport system Catapult since 2014. He is now Coordination Director, COVID-19 Restart and Recovery Programme for Transport for London. Ben Plowden is an expert in mobility and smart mobility issues.
Before he joined Transport for London in 2002 as director of borough partnerships, Ben Plowden directed Living Streets, an accelerator for nonprofit companies specialized on innovative transport. In 2005 he became Director of Communications. Ben Plowden was implied in the modernization of the transport network for the 2012 Olympics in London through smart transport issues since 2007. Ben Plowden is graduated from the universities of Oxford and Tulane.
Ben Plowden is a member of the steering committee of La Fabrique de la Cité.
