Elsa Charon is currently a senior project manager. She essentially works on city governance stakes and on new territory development models in relation to ecological transition.
Graduated from Sciences Po Paris and holder of a master’s degree in town planning from La Sorbonne University (Paris), Elsa has dedicated her career to local territories, initially with a focus on urban and economic development and then on ecological and energetic transition issues.
She previously worked as a consultant for territory authorities (SCET, Espelia, Auxilia) as well as for sustainable development non-profit organisation and semipublic study agencies (Institut Paris Région, Comité 21, Agence d’Urbanisme et d’Aménagement de Toulouse). Her core areas of expertise includes the economic development of small and medium-sized cities, energy efficiency topics, ecological transition governance stakes and the integration of climate issues in city planning. As a consultant, she has also acquired considerable experience in applying coconstruction and concertation methods with the stakeholders in the various projects she worked on.
