Fernando Medina is the 1st Deputy Mayor of Lisbon, and Adviser to the chairman of the Portuguese Investment Agency (API).
He was Adviser at the Institute for Innovation in Training, from 1998 to 2000 and he worked as Member of the Ministry of education working group of the Portuguese presidency of the European Union, from 1999 to 2000. Then he worked as Adviser to the prime Minister of Education, Science and Technology from 2000 to 2002.
Fernando Medina has a Master’s Degree in Economic Sociology from the School of economics and management and a Degree in Economics from the Faculty of economics of Porto.
