Coordinator of the Mouraria district regeneration programme

Since June 2011 João Meneses is the coordinator of the Mouraria GABIP, the institutional office that supports and brings together all the community development works in the Mouraria neighbourhood, in Lisbon;
He is also President of the Board at TESE, a Portuguese NGO for social innovation and development.Between 2010 and 2011 he was Director of Social Affairs, Education, Youth and Sports in the municipality of Lisbon.João Meneses has a diploma in Management from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Lisbon.
In 2009 he followed the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at Stanford University School of Business, and in 2011 he took part in the Executive Program on Performance Measurement for Nonprofit Organizations at Harvard University.
