Lavea Brachman is currently Executive Director of the Greater Ohio Policy Center, shaping the organization’s direction and strategic policy priorities. She started her career in the Beveridge and Diamond law firm in 1988.
She then held the positions of Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C., from 2008 to 2013, and of Policy Fellow at the German Marshall Fund in Columbus, from 2010 to 2013. She graduated from Harvard University, and obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Chicago Law School.
She has a Master in City Planning (MCP) in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning from the Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
