A polytechnician and general engineer of the Ponts, Eaux et Forêts, Pascal BERTEAUD, has been the director general of Cerema since May 2018. He is also President of the International Office for Water.
He was notably Director General of IGN, Director General of EPAMARNE-EPAFRANCE, Director of Water at the Ministry of Ecology, and member of several ministerial cabinets.
