In charge of innovation for Geodis, Philippe de Carné guides and coordinates the efforts of the various Geodis business lines to better respond to the challenges of logistics in urban areas, improving service, adjusting to new needs and reducing the environmental footprint of freight transport.
Philippe de Carné started his career in the food industry in R&D and industrial management functions. He then joined the business consulting community and contributed to the development of the supply chain concept that emerged at the time, building on the growing power and integration of information systems.
He joined the Geodis Group (9 billion euros in turnover, 40 employees in 65 countries, a subsidiary of the SNCF) in 2010.
