Robert Herrmann was elected local official from 1989 to 2020. Deputy Mayor but also General Councillor and finally President of the Eurométropole of Strasbourg.
He has also chaired, at the local level, the Strasbourg Gas, La SAMINS (Strasbourg train station market), and the Strasbourg and Regional Planning Agency, and, at the national level, the P.U.C.A. (Plan. Urbanisme. Construction. Architecture) as well as the M.O.T. (Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière)
He has been interested in very diverse fields such as public dialogue, community governance, mobility and land use planning.
He is a graduate of the University NANCY 2 – Master 2 in public management.
Today he is auto-entrepreneur (business and other management advice).
Robert Herrmann is a member of the steering committee of La Fabrique de la Cité.
