A building services engineer with a doctorate from Algeria in energy physics and a graduate of Toulouse, Yamina Saheb made her entry into sustainable development following training in Germany in 2000 on the implementation of sustainable development principles on the local level.
After several years of experience in building, air conditioning and energy-efficient/energy cost reduction construction material improvement and, more recently, the ecological footprint of projects, she is now an expert in buildings at the International Energy Agency. She used to be a technical advisor to communities, service companies and major construction groups on urban development projects.
Yamina Saheb directed, in April 2008, the study of The City Factory, Critical analysis of sustainable districts.
