Medium-sized cities

Described as havens of peace and quality of life or, on the contrary, by what they no longer are and are not (cities that count, hubs of innovation, places of opportunity and openness to the world, etc.), medium-sized cities are the subject of contradictory representations. Does the “medium-sized city” exist? The answer to this question requires going on the field; thus, La Fabrique de la Cité will meet with local stakeholders in these so-called “medium-sized” cities in order to understand the diversity, complexity and current dynamics behind the ready-made representations.
