Stations of the future: a new urban paradigm?
About
As a part of its partnership with the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions, La Fabrique de la Cité is exploring the station of the future. Progressively, the station is no longer simply a mobility infrastructure: it is an urban object that must be considered as such. Its walls disappear; porosities and extensions are created. The station is now a space crossed by fluxes and open to the city. This change of paradigm involves adopting a new way of thinking about these spaces. How can we ensure their coherent integration into the urban fabric?
