Director of the Intelligent City Forum Innovation Centre for Mobility and Societal Change (InnoZ) and LSE Enterprise, Florian Lennert is Director of the Intelligent City Forum, which is a joint venture of the Innovation Centre for Mobility and Societal Change (InnoZ) in Berlin and LSE Enterprise, the venture and innovation division of the London School of Economics (LSE).
Florian Lennert is a co-founder of the LSE Grantham Research Institute for Climate and Environment. He was also Director of Corporate Relations at LSE and was responsible for strategic research development and partnerships.
He launched a number of interdisciplinary research centres and institutes at the LSE, including LSE Cities Centre and Urban Age Programme, the Deutsche Bank Risk Programme and the BP Global Dimensions Programme. He also led the LSE Asia Forum and co-founded and coordinated the LSE Centre for the Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR).
Florian Lennert regularly advises research institutions, municipalities, businesses and technology- transfer ventures on R&D and sustainable innovation strategies. He has in the past worked with the German Institute of Urban Research (DIfU), and counselled leading research universities such as Sciences-Po Paris, LMU Munich and the Hertie School of Governance Berlin.
He holds a B.Sc. Economics and an MPA from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
