In more than 23 years Marco van Lochem has fulfilled (international) positions in the area of strategic consultancy, sales and line-management, amongst others within Atos, ICT Automation and Axians (former Imtech ICT, now part of Vinci Energies).
He has extensive knowledge of, and experience in the area of IT-infrastructures, software development, services & processes and turnaround management. Van Lochem has a specialized focus on Internet of Things, IT-OT Convergence, Innovation, Smart Grids and Smart Cities.
He is currently managing director within Axians in The Netherlands and responsible for Technical Systems and the strategic theme Internet of Things.
Beside that Van Lochem is co-founder and board member AiREAS, a Cooperative Association founded in 2010 in The Netherlands with members from government, commercial/business, science and citizen organizations with the objective to create healthy cities to live and work in.
