Mark Hartmann is investment manager at Project A Ventures.

Project A Project Ventures is a Berlin-based early-stage investor and company builder in the digital technology space. With financial support and operational expertise, Project A helps startups to build up competences in key areas such as IT, Performance Marketing, Business Intelligence and Organization Building. Project A has supported entrepreneurs in building companies such as Tirendo, nu3, Glow, Eyeota and Tictail.

Within Project A, Mark Hartmann is responsible for building up incubation ventures, interim management, B2B sales, international activities and mobile. Prior to Project A, he was co-founder of the Mexican e-commerce platform clickOnero.com.mx, scaling it to one of Mexico’s largest e-commerce platforms.

Prior to his time in Latin America, Mark Hartmann worked for McKinsey & Company on digital and mobile projects in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia, focusing on CRM and Customer Lifecycle Management. Moreover, he has been an investor/business angel in startups of which some subsequently went on to raise funds from YCombinator or Global Founders Capital (Samwer).

Mark Hartmann holds a Master’s degree in business administration from the WHU School of Management in Koblenz, Germany. During his studies, he was a fellow of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation and studied abroad at Sorbonne, Paris and Universidad Torcuato di Tella, Buenos Aires.
